Here is another tablemat that I’ve had the pleasure of making recently! This design was submitted by Raji’s Craft Hobby (View their blog here!). Fortunately, I still had some yarn leftover from making the Adinah Doily so I used that. I really like the style of this tablemat, and goes well with the previous doily, so am intending to make more for my own table setting at home.

So, as I said in the intro, this pattern is made by Raji’s Craft Hobby (who have already been featured on this blog here). Just like the previous pattern, this textured tablemat features a photo guide and a video, so if you do get stuck or confused, there are plenty of resources to refer to.
This pattern looks awesome, and uses a lovely variety of stitches such as popcorn and cluster which give it a lovely texture. You also have the freedom to experiment with different colour schemes so you can really have some fun!
This pattern is also free, which is always a bonus. I love to give support to free pattern designers, so do check out her blog and social media, which I have shared at the end of this showcase!

The recommended yarn weight is 4-ply, but you can use other weights if you prefer – just be aware that your finished product may be smaller or larger.
I used Yarn and Colors Must-Have in Shark Grey and Graphite. This brand is available from Lovecrafts and has a awesome variety of colours to choose from. It is also 100% mercerised cotton making it ideal for these kinds of projects.
The recommended hook size is 3mm. As with other projects, the hook size may differ depending on the yarn you use and how tight you crochet.

I love patterns such as these as they are a great way to practice a variety of stitches and techniques and the finished product is so beautiful.
I love to give all pattern designers the credit they deserve, especially when the provide us these patterns for free! So, if you like this pattern, be sure to visit Raji’s blog, and subscribe if you want to keep up to date with her patterns. Also, check out Raji’s Instagram and Youtube channel!
